As a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based, best practice clinical services to achieve optimal patient outcomes in obstetrics and gynaecology. You will also supervise, train, and develop junior medical staff to ensure safe and effective clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients, adhering to the highest standards of professionalism.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff to ensure they are equipped to provide safe and effective care.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services, maintaining high standards of care and adherence to our values.
- Liaise with other specialists and general practitioners to optimize patient care and enhance service delivery.
- Actively participate in risk management and quality programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or equivalent specialist pathways.
- Mandatory qualifications include Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation (ANR), Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training (PROMPT), and Advanced Life Support 2 (ALS2).
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to risk management, clinical governance, and safety.
- Proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality customer service, with a focus on workplace equity and injury prevention.
