Technical Trainer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality aviation training and support student development while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

This role involves the facilitation and delivery of technical training in Initial Employment Training and Post Initial Employment Training, as well as supervising Defence Force personnel within a simulated working environment.

  • Responsibilities include providing specialisation skills and advice to support aviation technical training, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, government, and industry partners, and maintaining accurate electronic and hard copy records of training documentation.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated industry experience as a qualified Aviation Maintenance Engineer or Aircraft/Electrical Engineers with significant experience in Aviation Safety Regulations.

They must hold a certificate III/IV in Aeroskills, higher qualification, or a current EASA/CASA Licence, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or technical training instructor experience.

A strong communicator with the ability to develop effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, they must also hold Defence security clearance, White Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), or eligibility to obtain, and eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
