We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Therapeutic Clinician to deliver trauma-informed interventions and work collaboratively with care teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working in a dynamic environment, assessing needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group interventions. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy sessions, and contributing to program development and evaluation.
- Develop and implement tailored therapeutic treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide training and education to colleagues and community members on trauma-informed practices and child safety principles.
- Contribute to the development of new programs and services to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable children and families.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in therapeutic work with children, young people, and families.
- A strong understanding of feminist principles and the gendered nature of family violence.
- Commitment to cultural safety and inclusion, especially for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities.
