About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to contribute to designing innovative solutions that advance society sustainably. This role involves leading and supporting sub-system design and documentation of digital systems, including CAD models, circuit diagrams, and PCB layouts.

You will research and develop prototypes to validate fit, form, and function, and perform simulations and analyses to ensure robust design outcomes. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive testing and validation procedures to assess performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Your technical leadership will extend across the full lifecycle of digital systems from conceptualisation to integration and enhancement. You will collaborate with internal and external development teams to deliver solutions aligned with agreed architectures.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing system designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of digital systems into our products.

This role can be based in Brisbane or Newcastle, and you will work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.

Technical requirements for this role include expertise in mechatronics engineering, proficiency in CAD software, and excellent problem-solving skills.
