We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to lead our learning and development initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing a comprehensive learning management system, selecting and training internal trainers, and developing training materials using adult learning principles.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing learning and development matrices within a manufacturing or production business, as well as the ability to assess organizational learning and development needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing a learning management system
- Selecting and training internal trainers
- Developing training materials using adult learning principles
- Leading the learning and development functions through operations
- Creating induction and onboarding frameworks and training programs for team leaders, supervisors, maintenance managers, and quality managers
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing learning and development matrices
- Ability to assess organizational learning and development needs
- Experience with operational and health and safety training is an advantage
- Deliver train-the-trainer sessions for internally developed training
- Excellent communication skills, strong verbal reasoning, influencing, and presentation skills, and high professional credibility
- Ability to travel to national locations
