Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to a challenging range of electrical projects in the resources sector. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, perform risk assessments, and encourage a culture of safety across all project teams.
  • Provide technical advice, support, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to testing and delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet project milestones, manage schedules, and handle client-submitted materials.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITRs) and associated project-specific procedures.
  • Manage compliance with quality management systems and client requirements.
  • Support procurement and subcontractor management processes.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform site inductions and enhance team capabilities through active participation in learning and development initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and maintain compliance with industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience, including at least 3 years in a project engineering capacity within the construction industry.
  • Expertise in AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079 standards.
  • Strong project management knowledge with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, along with resilience, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.
