As a key member of the Data Team, you will contribute to building intelligent domains using market-leading tools and improving the way we work in Data.

You'll be responsible for delivering key data initiatives, using cloud technologies such as Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, DBT, and Snowflake. Your expertise in data handling and curation capabilities will drive business outcomes and inform strategic decisions.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Solid experience in Data Engineering, BI/software development, including ELT/ETL, data extraction, and manipulation in Data Lake/Data Warehouse environments.
  • Proven experience in data modelling, analysis, and profiling.
  • Experience working with diverse data domains.
  • Continuous improvement and performance optimisation practices ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and integrity.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
  • Experience applying DevOps practices, SDLC, CI/CD principles to build automated pipelines and deployment.
  • In-depth understanding of data engineering practices and big data technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, Snowflake, and DBT Core.
  • Experience with Python and Spark, and one or more of its API (PySpark, Spark SQL, Scala), Bash/Shell scripting.
  • Experience with source code control – GitHub, etc.
  • Knowledge and exposure to cloud Big Data warehouses - Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
  • Experience with UNIX command-line tools.
