Internal Communications Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our internal strategy and delivery in Australia. As Internal Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's narrative and driving employee engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in internal communications, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, content creation, and analytics-driven decision making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies that drive business outcomes and foster a positive work environment.
  • Lead a team of professionals to create engaging content, including articles, videos, and social media posts, that aligns with our brand voice and tone.
  • Analyze metrics and adjust communication approaches to optimize reach, engagement, and impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of internal communications efforts across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leaders on effective internal communications practices and messaging.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our organization's goals, values, and culture to inform communications initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our internal communications capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful internal communications campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Comfort with AI and modern comms tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • A collaborative spirit and a sense of humor.
