Commercial Project Coordinator

The primary function of this role is to optimize the administration of commercial construction projects and maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

This involves reviewing project information, sourcing materials, and managing timely communication with customers.

About the Role
  • Review project scope, pricing, and contractual requirements.
  • Source material or external pricing to assemble a comprehensive price.
  • Process inbound leads, client RFIs, and RFQs in a professional manner.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by following up quotes and closing successful sales.
  • Manage customer communication, reconcile project files, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Develop and manage project programs, oversee subcontract site installation, and control costs effectively.
  • Act on client site instructions and raise variation requests as necessary.
About You

To excel in this position, you must possess some technical aptitude, particularly in the construction environment.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the building and construction industry.
  • Relevant trade background preferred.
  • Experience in an Estimating, Contract/Project Administrator or similar role.
  • Substantial skill level in project administration and management within the construction sector.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with management, clients, specifiers, and subcontractors.
