Early Childhood Leadership Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic guidance to educators, ensuring that our Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards are consistently met.

As a skilled professional, you will be entrusted with mentoring educators, fostering their growth and development. This will involve empowering them to plan, implement, and evaluate programs that cater to the diverse needs of our young learners.

With access to our National Learning, Research, and Development (NLRDP) program, you will have the opportunity to engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities, including cultural pedagogy, nutrition, wellbeing, inclusion, sustainability, the arts, and documentation.

We offer unlimited resources through our NLRDP Communication and Resource platform. Additionally, you will have access to training programs like The Creative Collection Arts and Materials with Children and Learning Leaves Documentation.

The Inclusion Mentoring Team is always available for on-call and online support. You also have the chance to participate in our New Zealand Study Tour.

Working closely with the Centre Educational Leader, you will help create an environment where children can thrive creatively and curiously.

  • A deep understanding of Image of Child principles.
  • The ability to develop and implement high-quality educational programs.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring educators.
  • An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
  • A current Working with Children's Check.
  • Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain upon commencement).
  • Additional Child Protection Training ensuring compliance with section 162A.
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
