Network Consultant Opportunity

Join a leading professional consulting services provider in delivering critical technology and business outcomes.

A prominent institution within the Banking sector is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a significant Daily Rate assignment based in Sydney. This Hybrid work arrangement will enable you to contribute to the technical delivery of a core infrastructure payments migration stream.

About the Assignment

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition to modernised infrastructure by contributing to the design, planning, and execution of network-related components.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop low-level network designs, implementation plans, and execution strategies to drive project success.

  • Provide technical advisory support to Project Managers and Solution Designers, ensuring all network-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Collaborate with vendors and partner stakeholders to facilitate successful program delivery.

  • Manage and facilitate change controls, scheduling, and communications in alignment with ITIL-based change management processes.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the target network and compute infrastructure.

  • Communicate effectively across the program to provide status updates and technical insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We seek a seasoned network consultant with:

  • Proven expertise in data centre networking, including switching, routing, and Cisco ACI technologies.

  • Strong experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto.

  • Hands-on experience with F5 Application Delivery Controllers.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure orchestration tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and change management processes.
