Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service is at the heart of this role, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

The Food and Beverage Attendant plays a vital part in delivering top-notch service, taking pride in every interaction with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests warmly, providing them with menus and answering questions about menu items in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Take accurate orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions, and communicate them to the kitchen team in a clear and concise manner.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring they are presented according to standard.
  • Regularly check in with diners to ensure they have everything they need and address any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organised area, including clearing tables, resetting, and restocking to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared correctly and delivered promptly, promoting a positive working environment.
  • Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently, adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Upsell and promote additional menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance the guests' experience, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Address special requests and accommodate guests' needs to the best of your ability, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Follow safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages, and maintain a clean and safe work environment, upholding health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails, with ongoing training and support available as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items, maintaining physical stamina and resilience.
