Job Overview

The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for leading and managing a team in a complex multidisciplinary environment to achieve specific clinical objectives within Sub-Acute & Aged Services.

  • Provide contemporary nursing leadership in a challenging environment
  • Stay up-to-date with national and State health issues and reform agendas
  • Achieve outcomes in areas of responsibility through effective management

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of current nursing issues relevant to Sub-Acute & Aged Services, as well as demonstrated expertise in legislation, standards, and policies affecting clinical practice.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to contribute effectively as a member of a senior management team
  • Proven experience in managing physical, financial, and human resources under a clinical service model or similar environment
