Project Manager – Civil Construction

This challenging role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a project team in the delivery of multiple civil construction projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a proven track record in managing site-based teams safely and effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and scheduling of construction activities
  • Management of site project teams and external stakeholders
  • Quality Assurance, Cost, and Time Management
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Resolving site issues in a timely manner
  • Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinating internal and external resources

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar field
  • 5-15+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $2m to $40m+
  • Project management qualifications will be advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction practices and a hands-on approach
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
