We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dynamic Allied Health Specialist to join our team at Humanity Health Group in Rockhampton or Gladstone sites.

About the Role

As a Provisional Psychologist, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality allied health care solutions that enhance the lives of our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, executing, and evaluating education and support services tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers and NDIS participants.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including other health professionals, NDIA-related entities, and stakeholders, to provide comprehensive support and services.
  • Preparing accurate, timely, and high-quality reports that cater to the diverse needs of our target audience.
  • Maintaining impeccable administrative records, including billing, invoicing, and data management.
  • Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

You'll have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with our clients, carers, nominees, local area coordinators, support coordinators, and NDIA staff, ultimately contributing to the success of our Back2Work brand.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • An approved Psychology degree from a recognized institution.
  • Provisional registration or eligibility for provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, with a strong focus on behaviour support.
  • A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients, backed by excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Evidence of completing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) mandatory orientation module.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a satisfactory criminal record check and Working with Vulnerable People check.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and access to your own vehicle, with the ability to travel between Rockhampton and Gladstone site locations.

Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly with individuals who have a disability, is highly desirable. Additionally, a clear understanding of the NDIS framework, funding, services, support categories, and procedures would be an asset.
