
Rehabilitation and Reintegration Specialist

The role of Manager Rehabilitation and Reintegration involves providing leadership and oversight to the rehabilitation and reintegration teams within a correctional facility. This includes managing complex human resources, developing and implementing strategies for sentence management and intervention outcomes, and undertaking research into contemporary criminogenic training and reintegration programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and broad oversight to the rehabilitation and reintegration teams
- Manage complex human resources within the team
- Develop and implement strategies for sentence management and intervention outcomes
- Undertake research into contemporary criminogenic training and reintegration programs
- Provide high-level professional advice to senior clinicians on the operation of their areas and the management of more junior staff
To be successful in this role, applicants will require a degree of at least 3 years duration in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling, or equivalent as provided by a recognised university. Additionally, applicants should have significant postgraduate work experience in a relevant field and be registered or able to be registered as a psychologist in Tasmania.
