Care Worker for the Elderly

We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Orange, providing essential support and assistance to older members of our community.
Salary: $30.61 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + Phone Allowance
About the Role- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to enable older individuals to maintain their independence at home.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring that clients receive nutritious food and stay hydrated.
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Support with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Deliver complex care for clients with high needs, including dementia support and management of medications.
- Cert III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing.
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
- Ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
