Data Engineer Position
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern data engineering methods and technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Role

This role involves designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, working with cloud-native services, and enabling real-time analytics. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative data products and solutions that meet business needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and Architecture: Design and architect robust data platforms using Databricks Lakehouse Architecture and best practices for Delta Lake, data modeling, and distributed processing.
  • Developing Data Solutions: Implement and enhance data-driven solutions integrating with clients' systems using state-of-the-art tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud, and AWS.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop and optimize high-performance, batch, and real-time data pipelines employing advanced streaming technologies like Kafka, Flink, and workflow orchestration tools like Dataflow and Airflow.
  • Database and Storage Optimisation: Optimize and manage various database technologies, from traditional relational databases to modern NoSQL solutions.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Databricks Platform: Hands-on experience in Databricks to build scalable, high-performance data solutions.
  • Core Data Engineering Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in SQL and Spark, familiarity with platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake, and knowledge of various storage technologies including AWS S3, Google Cloud BigQuery, Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J, and HDFS.
  • Data Modelling Expertise: Proficient in data modelling and understanding the implications and trade-offs of various methodologies and approaches.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and SQL, with additional experience in programming languages like Java, Scala, GoLang, and Rust considered advantageous.
