Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals to maintain a neat, tidy, safe and hygienic environment throughout the College campus. This role also involves contributing to the beautification and enhancement of the College grounds ensuring a safe and visually appealing environment.

About you

You must be open, collaborative and positive in all stakeholder and team relationships with the ability to work with the wider facilities and maintenance team to perform cleaning tasks as required safely and efficiently.

With a commitment to best outcomes for the College you will demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, staffrooms, toilets, showers and office areas within the College.
  • Removal and disposal of rubbish along with replenishment of stock, stock control and ordering.
  • Reporting any damage, hazards or other safety concerns within the College.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues observed during work times.
  • Completing all required training and re-training as directed.
  • Operating cleaning equipment in line with training and safe work practices.
  • Adhering to all required hygienic standards.
  • Wearing all required uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Working effectively without supervision either individually or in a team environment.
  • Managing priorities and tasks effectively by using highly developed time management and organisational skills.
