Facilities Maintenance Specialist

**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure the upkeep of our facilities;
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, workplace safety standards, and industry best practices;
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services;
- Assist in budget development and expenditure management to optimize resource allocation;
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and inform capital budgeting decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
- Applied knowledge of legislation relevant to maintenance services, including demonstrated operational achievement of accreditation standards;
- Minimum three years' experience providing maintenance services in a highly regulated environment;
- Demonstrated experience using computer-based asset management systems;
- Trade qualifications would be highly regarded;
- A current driver's licence; and
- A current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire.
