Job Title: Career Coach Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate professionals to join our team as Career Coach Specialists. This role involves working with individuals living with mental health conditions, empowering them to achieve their employment goals through tailored, person-centred support.

About the Role

As a Career Coach Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants, providing vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support using evidence-based practices.

You will strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of our services. You will build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities, work collaboratively with other service providers and ensure wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model
  • Support participants in every step of their employment journey
  • Exceed individual and team performance targets
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers

What We're Looking For:
  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health or related field
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support or disability services
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with participants and employers
