About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Melbourne. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality restaurant and banquet food, maintaining kitchen protocols, and collaborating with a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our members;
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards;
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes;
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting the expectations of our members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food preparation and a passion for delivering high-quality results;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease;
  • Knowledge of kitchen protocols, including HACCP and food safety procedures;
  • Proven track record of collaborating within a team environment and contributing to a positive and productive team culture.
