Remote Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic to join our dedicated team at the Surat Basin site in Queensland, Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver primary and emergency health care services, including advanced life support, trauma management, and resuscitation as required.
- Conduct daily medical clinics, manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning initiatives.
- Liaise with internal and external healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and deliver training programs on First Aid, CPR, Injury Management, and occupational health awareness to promote workplace health and safety.
- Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard, ensuring alignment with clinical governance and industry protocols.
- Promote and implement health-related initiatives and training sessions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Uphold all health, safety, and environmental requirements, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic is mandatory.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) is a requirement.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR Certification is necessary for this role.
- Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC) is also required.
- Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in multidisciplinary team settings are necessary for success.
