**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide real-time support and detailed financial analysis, being a trusted advisor and adding value to assist in operational and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed cost analysis for programs.
  • Preparation and presentation of high-quality, timely monthly management reports for programs, including insightful analysis of performance against operating budgets and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Preparation of annual operating cost budgets for programs.
  • Preparation of financial analysis and financial models for tenders and funding submissions.
  • Provision of financial advice and support to managers.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, or an equivalent related discipline.
  • Experience in a management accounting/business partnering role, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Sound understanding of commercial business practices and principles, including a proven ability to influence commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven workplace and effectively manage challenges and changing priorities while meeting team and agency deadlines.
  • Proven high-level analytical skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and computer-based financial systems.
