Job Title

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project Manager in Civil Infrastructure, Construction or Mining/Resource projects. They will possess recognized tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management and demonstrate exceptional commercial experience in forecasting and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project programs and execution plans, including start-up planning, programming, and managing short and medium-term construction planning.
  • Build and maintain client relationships by ensuring requirements and expectations of Safety, Quality, Schedule, Budget, and Contract Administration are met.
  • Manage compliance with relevant legislations, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate employees, sub-contractors, materials, and machinery according to program and budget.
  • Investigate incidents and provide timely reporting.
  • Oversee performance improvement processes and protect the interests of the organization.
  • Monitor on-site resources, materials, supplier deliveries, and construction progress in collaboration with site supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Project Manager in Civil Infrastructure, Construction or Mining/Resource projects.
  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Previous experience in hard dollar contracting, structural concrete, and civil works.
  • Proven commercial experience in forecasting and budget management, EOM processes, and cost tracking skills.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, adept at stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
