Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate personal care assistant to join our team.

As a personal care assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting older Australians to live safely and independently in their own homes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance to clients (e.g. showering, grooming, dressing)
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and household chores
  • Assisting with medication management (HLTHPS006 competency required)
  • Transporting clients to appointments, shopping or community outings
  • Observing and reporting changes in health and wellbeing

You'll be part of a flexible team, able to work unsupervised with the ability to work both in the field and in the office as required.

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent with 12 months experience
  • Completion of HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication
  • HLTAAP001 – Recognise Healthy Body Systems
  • CHCCCS031 – Provide Individualised Support
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
