We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Nambour, QLD. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
About the Role:- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Offer respite and emotional support
- Transport customers to appointments
- Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
- Guaranteed hours close to home as a permanent part-time employee
- Extensive paid training and a culture of continuous learning
- Accelerated learning programs to gain professional qualifications (Cert 3)
- Paid CPR and First Aid courses
- Paid KM's, phone allowance, and discounts on car maintenance
- Free uniform and shoe allowance
- Support at every step of your employment journey
- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
- Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday
