The Harbour Rocks Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and attend to guests' needs and desires immediately.
  • Clean and service allocated rooms to the highest standards within the allocated time.
  • Replenish and control guest supplies.
  • Report any maintenance needing attention to the Supervisor.
  • Follow all Housekeeping policies and procedures set by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance through personal grooming.
  • Inform the Housekeeping Office immediately of any unusual or abnormal situations seen in or around the hotel.
  • Report any potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor.
  • Greet hotel guests in a polite and courteous manner, maintaining friendliness without familiarity.
  • Attend monthly departmental communication, training, and information meetings.
  • Comply with the hotel's standard operational policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Handbook.
  • Have a full knowledge of and practice the hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S).
  • Provide assistance to other departments or outlets when required.

  • Highly organized and efficient in completing tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
