Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. As an integral member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating operational risks across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk analysis and strategic advisory services to senior management.
  • Develop and implement effective risk strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Conduct deep dive reviews to assess inherent and residual risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to embed risk management practices into business-as-usual activities.
  • Provide expert advice on risk culture, key risks, controls, metrics, and trends.
  • Document findings for management and committee reporting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operational risk and/or compliance in banking and financial services.
  • Strong risk advisory and partnering skills to drive business value.
  • Ability to articulate complex risk issues to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory environments, including APRA, NCCP, Privacy Act, and AUSTRAC.
  • Capacity to manage workload and drive process improvements in a matrix environment.
