About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our Lifestyles team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or community settings. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and domestic assistance, as well as maintaining and monitoring person-centered plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
- Domestic assistance, such as household chores and meal preparation
- Maintaining and monitoring person-centered plans to ensure individualized support
- Documenting and progress note keeping to track client progress
- Community access and transport, using your own vehicle
Requirements
- Experience supporting people with disabilities
- Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
- Australian Driver's License and reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Willingness to complete basic household chores
- Passion for delivering person-centered care
What We Offer
