Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Plant Operator at our Agnes Water Concrete Plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality concrete products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Batching and Loading Operations: Accurately batch and load concrete orders to specified mix designs using dedicated programs and systems.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate front-end loaders to weigh up materials for batching and other plant equipment as required.
  • Administration and Maintenance: Manage day-to-day administration tasks, including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts, and perform general yard housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting, to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Interest in the concrete industry, with full training provided.
  • Technical Skills: Sound computer skills working with multiple systems and safety reporting.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required.
