About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our plant and equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment.
  • Support breakdowns and shift work, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Assist in shutdowns, taking on a supervisory or coordinator role as required.
  • Undertake tasks with a focus on long-term repairs and meeting high standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with statutory and AS/NZ standards, using OEM manuals and peer support.
  • Diagnose and repair faults, perform maintenance and servicing work safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specification diagrams and maintenance manuals.
  • Prepare work areas for maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Use site systems and the SAP system to document and archive maintenance records.
  • Work within the on-demand system, responding flexibly to changing priorities.
  • Induct and supervise contractors during service visits, ensuring site safety and security.

    About You:

    • Relevant mechanical trade qualification.
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
    • Strong focus on safety and compliance.
    • Good problem-solving skills.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Ability to manage project execution.
    • Availability and flexibility to work overtime when required.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in tight deadlines.
