EVENING AND NIGHT SHIFT FORKLIFT OPERATORS IN BLACKTOWN

Our partner, a prominent player in the global logistics sector, specializes in advanced supply chain management and efficient distribution solutions tailored for the food industry.

The available positions primarily involve night shifts, with working hours from 9 PM to 5 AM, covering a 7-day schedule.

Training will be conducted over a two-week period during mid-morning and afternoon shifts, specifically from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, requiring flexibility from candidates.

The base pay rate ranges from $43 to $44 per hour, in addition to overtime and penalty rates.

Weekend work is mandatory, including both Saturdays and Sundays; applicants unable to commit to this schedule need not apply.

We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:

  • Familiarity with the warehousing sector
  • VALID FORKLIFT LICENSE AND HIGH REACH EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL
  • Prior experience in cold storage environments, specifically in freezer conditions of minus 25 degrees
  • Knowledge of Pick & Pack processes and stacking cartons on pallets
  • Previous experience with VOICE PICKING
  • Proficiency in pallet stacking
  • Availability for a 7-day work roster ( WEEKEND WORK IS REQUIRED )
  • Flexibility for day and afternoon shifts
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Physically fit and in good health
  • Strong communication skills
  • A reliable work history
  • Two work-related referees
  • Must possess a current Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Team-oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Safe operation of Electric Pallet Jacks
  • Valid Forklift License IS A MUST
  • Experience in voice picking (advantageous but training will be provided)
  • Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety protocols
  • Competent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Initiative to contribute positively to the organization
