About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to create inclusive teaching and learning environments for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students, community and stakeholders.

As a Regional Community Education Counsellor, you will provide culturally responsive educational counselling and support to schools and practitioners.

Key responsibilities include developing activities to enhance the involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families in education, designing and implementing support service programs, coordinating regional programs, and providing professional supervision.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with diverse groups, and possess a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories.
