Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive leader to collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in driving innovation and ensuring effective execution within transportation networks. This is a part-time role where you will work closely with teams to achieve performance goals and productivity standards.

This role requires monitoring team attendance and workflow, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for contributing to fostering a strong health and safety culture by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and managing teams. You will also be required to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to fostering a strong health and safety culture by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Assist in the daily oversight and management of departmental tasks.
  • Conduct staff debriefs, ensuring all paperwork is accurately and thoroughly completed.
  • Perform duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Allocate tasks to staff as needed to maintain workflow and meet daily performance targets.
Requirements
  • Experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Managing teams and planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and outlook.
