Senior Civil Engineer Role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Water Group, based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast.

  • Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
  • Provide input across the full project lifecycle—from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Civil Design: Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
  • Project Lifecycle: Provide input across the full project lifecycle—from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • RPEQ status or ability to obtain.
  • 8+ years' experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and client-focused approach.
