Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

The role of a Financial Crime Prevention Specialist is critical in safeguarding the Bank, its customers, and the communities we serve from the impacts of fraud and financial crime.

This specialist will collaborate closely with the Financial Crime and Technology teams to develop and implement effective strategies for detecting and preventing financial crime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions for detecting and preventing financial crime.
  • Utilize data analytics skills to identify trends and patterns, detect potential threats, and recommend proactive measures to prevent financial crime.
  • Engage stakeholders across the value chain to gain endorsement for solutions that maximize benefits for customers and enhance their banking experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a data analyst with expertise in mining large complex data sets to identify and interpret trends and patterns.
  • Proven proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in reporting and using data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
  • Able to articulate technical requirements in meaningful ways, engaging stakeholders and driving business outcomes.
  • Desirable experience in Financial Services, particularly in areas such as financial crime, fraud, scams, and internal investigations.
