Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement industry-leading policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to People Leaders on workplace relations matters.
- Lead the Workplace Relations team to achieve best-practice compliance solutions and manage complex industrial relations reviews and implementation.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on complex case management, investigations, and matters in Courts and Tribunals.
- Deliver employee relations best-practice presentations to various audiences, including Senior Leadership and Licensees.
- Highly experienced in Workplace and Industrial Relations with a strong understanding of current and historical employment law.
- Demonstrated project management and cross-functional excellence to implement compliance solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with employer associations, government representatives, and union representatives across full spectrum of workplace and industrial relations matters.
- Demonstrated experience in advocacy and preparing submissions, including involvement in Fair Work Commission (FWC) matters and FWC reviews.
- An experienced investigator familiar with the principles of conducting accurate and fair investigations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead a team with integrity and curiosity, paired with the ability to challenge the status-quo in a respectful way and driven by achieving shared success.
