Expert Building Services Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer and Revit Modeler to join our Melbourne team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of local industry experience in Mechanical Engineering design and documentation within Australia.
- Completed qualifications in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution would be desired but not essential.
- Experience with BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud, as well as Interdisciplinary model clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, is required.
- Mechanical Design Drafting skills such as system layouts, ductwork sizing, grille selections, static pressure & building pressurisation calculations, air/water side schematics, and the like, are necessary.
- The ability to work closely with peers and be a team player is essential.
- Excellent written and oral commercial communication skills are required.
- Initiative and excellent time management skills to meet deadlines are necessary.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Responsibilities include working closely with Senior Engineers / Directors, undertaking research and calculations, attending design consultancy meetings, and preparing concept development plans, schematic designs, detailed designs, and building services plans.
Project site management and services coordination, as well as heat load calculations, are also desirable skills.
Senior Technical Officers with extensive experience are also encouraged to apply.
The work is office based in Melbourne in our newly refurbished premises in the CBD.
