Curtin Heritage Living offers a dynamic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to drive strategic leadership and holistic care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve activity programs that align with resident needs, professional standards, and organisational objectives.
  • Conduct therapy assessments, treatment plans, and treatments in partnership with residents and representatives, adhering to professional guidelines and organisational processes.
  • Maintain effective relationships with medical, nursing, care, allied health, service providers, and equipment suppliers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Accurately document and report care interventions, observations, changes in needs, and resident feedback.
  • Promote a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment.
  • Contribute to auditing, review, and service development processes.
  • Support the review and dissemination of allied health policies, procedures, and assessment tools under the direction of the Therapy + Lifestyle Manager.
  • Provide expert advice and education to staff to ensure appropriate care.
  • Assist in delivering local clinical training and competency programs.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA).
  • National police clearance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
