Maintenance Planner

About the Role
Hastings Deering is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to manage and coordinate upcoming planned work, support planned component replacement, and ensure a future focus in maintaining reliability and availability targets at Carmichael Mine.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the customer in planning of scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role.
- Responsible for the creation of all parts lists and resource allocation for PCR work.
- Regular review of the defect list and planning the repairs of these defects at the optimal time.
- Management and tracking of all planning requirements for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions, parts and resource requirements.
- Process control management and site-based development of processes; work order process, warranty handling process, warranty parts return and control.
- Attending and providing input to the weekly planning meetings.
- The attendance of all related Tool Box & Safety meetings.
- Responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate bills of material associated to planned events.
- Responsible for maintaining job packaging for work order management associated to planned events.
About You
A successful candidate will have experience in:
- Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitting) or related discipline.
- Minimum of five years' post trade experience with working Caterpillar Production Systems.
- Minimum two years' experience supervising a team in providing technical solutions.
