About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team in Cairns. As a key member of our design team, you will contribute to delivering innovative solutions for land subdivision projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare conceptual and detailed designs using 12D software, incorporating various civil infrastructure elements.
  • Interpret civil design requirements from clients, including State Government, Local Government Authorities, and private sector clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping disciplines.
  • Engage with clients to ensure project needs are met, providing expert and quality service.
  • Contribute to diverse national teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in civil design and drafting within a consulting environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using 12D software, ideally with experience working on civil projects.
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval processes and regulatory requirements.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
