About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Trainee Teacher to work alongside our experienced staff while pursuing studies in education. This role offers an exceptional chance to gain hands-on experience and develop teaching skills in a caring Christian environment.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess a strong commitment to Christian values. As a key member of our team, you will support teachers in developing lesson plans, assess and provide feedback to students, and contribute to the school's faith life.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a positive example to students and colleagues through personal conduct and values
  • Support teachers in planning lessons that cater to diverse student needs
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure student wellbeing and pastoral care
  • Participate in the school's faith activities, including staff devotions or worship
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to our school's Christian Statement of Faith
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of appropriate behaviours when working with children
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
