Job SummaryThis role plays a key collaborative part in our eID program, focusing on the transition to mandatory individual eIDs for sheep and goats. As a Senior Biosecurity Officer, you will engage with industry stakeholders, deliver strategic extension plans, monitor project achievements, and develop customer capacity through targeted training and events.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with regional AB & W staff and DPIRD Industry Liaison Officers to ensure seamless implementation of Sheep & Goat eID requirements.
  • Deliver strategic plans to enhance customer understanding of eID implementation needs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on project progress.
  • Develop customer capacity through targeted training and events.
  • Translate business plans into effective field programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • A valid NSW Class C Driver Licence and willingness to travel are essential.
