Job Overview

As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in the administration and processing of our fortnightly payroll. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient data entry into our Comprehensive HR Integrated Solution (CHRIS21) system.

Responsibilities
  • Collate and enter timecards for payroll requirements
  • Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers within an adequate timeframe
  • Contributing to regular payroll reporting including end of month requirements
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Payroll Officer position is essential
  • Demonstrated experience in using CHRIS21 Payroll system is desirable
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail are required
  • Experience with timecards and coding is desirable
  • Accounting knowledge is desirable
  • Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Office Skills specifically with Excel are necessary
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate initiative are essential
  • Strong customer service and analytical skills are required
  • The ability to work well under pressure and with little supervision is necessary
  • Effective time-management and planning skills are essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
