Expeditor/Procurement Associate

This role involves providing specialist procurement and logistics support for timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services.
You will be responsible for raising purchase orders using Epicor ERP system, confirming purchase orders with vendors, and expediting orders by engaging with vendors to develop solutions that meet order requirements.
Key responsibilities also include obtaining supplier QA documentation as required, providing logistics support including obtaining shipping and logistics quotes, liaising with vendors, and arranging freight movements, resolving invoice discrepancies, assisting in onboarding vendors onto the Vendor Portal and ensuring compliance, participating in projects led by the Purchasing Manager or Strategic Sourcing, and providing coverage and support to other procurement team members as required.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years of procurement experience, experience in using an ERP system for purchasing, experience with arranging logistics (international freight experience an advantage), ability to contact suppliers directly and engage to provide solutions and deliver on-time, experience working in a project environment (preferred), experience with reporting software, intermediate Excel and Power BI experience (an advantage), and tertiary or industry qualifications in procurement or logistics (an advantage).
