Tool Store Coordinator

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking an experienced Tool Store Coordinator to join our team at Forrestdale.

The Opportunity

This full-time permanent role involves coordinating the tool store, workshop and plant asset purchasing, maintenance and calibrations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Governance and scheduling of all tool store, workshop and plant asset purchasing, maintenance and calibrations and compliance.
  2. Tracking and purchasing of PPE and consumables working closely with suppliers to assess product demand and usage ensuring adequate stock is available.
  3. Compile information required for internal and external audits.
  4. Accurate record keeping of all tools and workshop assets and scheduling of calibrations inspections and repairs as required.
  5. Source quotes from suppliers and monitoring actioning of back orders.
  6. Assist with other general service administration duties as required for the service teams.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar service or tool store administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal written communication skills.
  • Experience with purchasing supplier engagement invoice management.
  • Organised motivated individual able to work well independently within a team.
  • Demonstrated MS Office experience including Word Excel.
