Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This is a full-time role offering 30 hours per week over 4 days, with opportunities for career growth and development.

We believe in the importance of play-based learning and offer a curriculum that is inspired by the Montessori, Reggio, and Steiner philosophies. Our dedicated team of educators work together to create a sense of belonging and respect among children, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging children's programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and Montessori Philosophy.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and ensure the centre's policies and procedures are upheld.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality care and education.
  • Act as a positive role model and demonstrate appropriate behaviour and language.
  • Foster a sense of belonging and respect among children, families, and staff.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree.
  • Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Montessori qualifications and/or formal training.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
