Job Overview

A Senior Management Accountant is required to join a well-established player in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience in the financial services industry, and strong technical skills in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close periods and months by performing end-of-period tasks
  • Manage revenue accounting including unearned income and accruals schedules for concessions, retail and projects
  • Account for labor and employee entitlements
  • Handle doubtful/bad debts accounting
  • Oversee CAPEX management and project accounting
  • Supervise billing work performed by junior accountants, projects and operations teams
  • Monitor the end-to-end accounts receivable process including credit management

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant accounting qualifications (CPA or CA certification)
  • Proven experience in the financial services industry or related fields
  • Previous experience in similar roles
  • Strong communication and business partnership skills
  • Advanced technical skills in accounting and finance
