Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the documentation and management of department procedures.
- Monitor customer accounts on assigned ledgers for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, and resolve discrepancies.
- Collect overdue invoices via phone and email, manage the AR mailbox, and process credit card payments over the phone.
- Prepare and distribute account reconciliations as required.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and courteously, and raise credit requests as necessary.
- Process customer credits and claims in Oracle JD Edwards, request POD or invoice copies as required, and upload payments daily and complete allocations on assigned ledgers.
- Maintain customer records and request updates to Master Data to ensure all customer details are current.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with an accounting certificate or diploma, experience with JDE or SAP systems, and sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
1-2 years of collections/accounts receivable experience is preferred.
